Thank You, Teachers! 🍎

Happy National Teacher Appreciation Day!

This commemoration was first implemented in 1953 by Eleanor Roosevelt in order to honor those who dedicate their lives to instructing countless individuals both young and old.
Hats off to all of you who influence for good! 👏🏼

Our little nest is now one bird shy. Our youngest began interning with a land surveying company in Kansas on Monday and Mom and Dad had to finally leave him today in order to get back home.

Can’t say it was easy, but we are very proud of him and very excited for him. He is in great hands, and most importantly, he is in the Lord’s hands. ❤️

Crayola Time

Crayola Markers. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

1. You are very user friendly…..children and adults alike love you.

2. You make handlettering easy and fun…..your broad tips make for easy ‘thicks’ and ‘thins.’

3. You are very cost friendly……your quality exceeds your price.

4. You provide a rainbow of beautiful colors……and you’re boxed already coordinated.

Thank you, Crayola!

P.S. I highly recommend these markers to anyone who might be thinking about giving handlettering a try.

Hello blogging world!

Not much causes the knees of an introvert to shake more than when said introvert purposefully puts herself “out there.” Nevertheless, I’m here. And if someone is actually reading this first post, I’m very glad you’re here too.

This little blog is dedicated to my creativity…..a place to share the things I make and to challenge myself to grow in my craft. I am by no means a professional. I just love what I do and I look forward to sharing it here, and maybe along the way, making new friends too.

Thank you for stopping by!

P.S. I am also by no means a professional blogger. If you find something here that isn’t right, isn’t working, and/or would be helpful, if you would be so kind as to let me know, I would be grateful. 😊
